VISION: Our vision is to establish the Tri-County JobLink System with its multiple sites as the primary source for meeting employment needs for the businesses and job seekers, resulting in a qualified workforce and enhanced economic growth in Cherokee, Clay and Graham counties.
MISSION: Our mission is to maintain highly visible and accessible JobLink sites, to provide comprehensive and seamless services, to be customer driven, results-oriented, supportive of continuous learning and job advancement, and responsive to changing economic and regional labor market needs.
BUSINESS OBJECTIVE:
The primary business objective of the Tri-County JobLink System is to provide citizens and businesses multiple points of access to employment and training-related services through partnerships and agency collaboration. A unified approach between workforce agencies and industry partners will support new ways of delivering needed employment and training services. Commitment to the following values in our daily operations remains critical to our success: respecting the worth of others, emphasizing customer service and services driven by customer needs. Core services to job seekers include assessments, job placement, information & referral, unemployment insurance, career counseling, resumes, and job training. Core services to employers include job postings, screening of applicants, space for interviewing, testing and company meetings, technical assistance on benefits and employment laws, labor market information, Rapid Response, Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC), On-the-job training (OJT) programs, and Dislocated Worker services.
