About JobLink
VISION
The integrated vision for the Macon County JobLink Career Center is a single unified system for all employment services.
MISSION
The core purpose/mission of the Macon County JobLink is to provide quality seamless services to all customers.
HISTORY
In 1997 the Workforce Development Agencies of Macon and Swain Counties formed a JobLink Career Center. The Macon JobLink provided fulltime services while Swain had limited services. In the fall of 2000 the Swain County partners decided the need in their county was so great that they would establish their own JobLInk. Swain County was officially chartered in September of 2001. Both JobLInks are currently serving the customer needs of their respective counties. In 2005 the Macon County JobLink was re-charted as a level II JobLink Career Center.
