Request for Proposals- Mountain Landscapes Initiative Toolbox Implementation Fund
The Southwestern Commission is seeking proposals for funding from local governments and nonprofits in its seven county service area (Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain Counties) as part of the Mountain Landscapes Initiatives Toolbox Implementation Fund. Proposals may be for $10,000 and, in exceptional cases $20,000, and must address Appalachian Regional Commission goals and North Carolina strategies for implementing these goals. A match will be required but may be in-kind. Deadline for submission is November 30th 2011 5:00 PM. Additional information from workshop presentation.
